Blachly-Lane Energy Share (BLES)
The BLES program assists members in our service area who may be facing difficult times with energy costs. BLES offers a one-time payment of $275 during a 12-month period. The member must meet income guidelines to be eligible. Please call (541) 688-8711 for more information.
The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP)
LIHEAP is a federally funded program that is administered by Lane County with the help of other area agencies. This program can help households that heat with electricity, natural gas, oil, propane, wood pellets, or wood. If you qualify, LIHEAP makes a one-time payment directly to your utility account. Eligibility is based on current income and doesn’t include assets or savings. Appointments are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Donate to BLES, Help a Neighbor
The BLES program is funded by donations from the generous members and employees of Blachly-Lane Electric Cooperative. If you would like to help support this program, you can contribute in several ways. You may have your monthly bill rounded up to the nearest dollar (BLES Plus,) give a one-time donation, or have a recurring contribution amount added to your monthly bills. Contributions to the BLES program are tax-deductible. If you would like to contribute to BLES, you can complete the BLES Donation Form (PDF) and return it to Blachly-Lane or call us at (541) 688-8711 or (800) 446-8418.
