Part Time Member Services Representative

A rare opportunity: You are invited to join our dynamic Blachly-Lane Electric Co-op team as a Part Time Member Services Representative (MSR). Our small electric utility is a collaborative, positive, laid-back workplace that offers great wage and benefit packages, including paid leave. Our standard workweek of Monday – Thursday, allows you to have every Friday off.  Tired of working too many hours on outdated systems? That’s not our work environment.  At Blachly-Lane, every voice is important as we work together to serve our member’s needs.

This part time position works approximately 24 hours each week, assisting cooperative members on the phone and in our lobby, and reports to the Accounting and Office Supervisor. This position processes member payments, provides analysis of members’ accounts, and answers member questions. Someone that enjoys providing excellent customer service in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner will thrive in this position.

A successful applicant must have a good working knowledge of general office practices, record keeping, member information systems, cashiering, computers, keyboarding, and 10-key. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software products Word and Excel is a requirement. Experience or knowledge of rural electrification and cooperative business entities is helpful. NISC iVue software experience is a major plus, however, we have experienced trainers to help you learn this system.
