Member Support Office Supervisor

A rare opportunity: you are invited to join our dynamic Blachly-Lane Electric Co-op team as a Member Support Office Supervisor. Our small electric utility is a collaborative, positive, laid-back workplace that offers great wage and benefit packages (such as immediate insurance coverage, 80 hours of vacation and 100 hours of holidays each year, both a 401k and DB plan). Our standard workweek of Monday – Thursday, 10-hour days allows you to have every Friday off.  Tired of working too many hours on outdated systems? That’s not our work environment.  At Blachly-Lane, every voice is important as we work together to serve our member’s needs.

This full-time position reports to the Controller and spends most of the day creating a service excellence experience for Blachly-Lane members.  We’re hoping to find someone with knowledge of member/customer service support that excels in a supervisory role.

Five (5) years of progressive experience in customer service and/or supervision is preferred. Post-secondary education in a related field of study is a plus. Experience or knowledge of rural electrification and cooperative business entities is helpful.  NISC iVue software experience is a major plus. We’d like to hear about your experience with programs and systems that support an office environment, particularly in front line customer support.

Starting pay will be based on experience, education, and job knowledge, with wage beginning at $47.08 an hour. For more information on position responsibilities and required qualifications, please see our job description. If this position matches your interests, please send a cover letter, resume, and an answer to this question (all in PDF format) to: Please use “Member Support Office Supervisor Position” as your email subject.
