Ruralite Magazine

As a member of Blachly-Lane you will receive each month a copy of Ruralite magazine. Ruralite is published for the members of 49 consumer-owned utilities in Oregon, Washington, Alaska, Idaho, Nevada, Wyoming and California.

Each month through the pages of Ruralite, Blachly-Lane brings you a local feature on pages 4 and 5, regional and local news on pages 8, 25, 28, and 29, as well as a message from our General Manager on the back of the magazine. Youth Contest

Each year Blachly-Lane sends one or more high school students from its service area to Boreal Ridge, California, for the annual Youth Energy Seminar. At the camp, participants are given a better understanding about cooperatives and how they work. They learn about energy issues, form and serve on a cooperative board of directors, and even form a cooperative store, owned and operated by the participants. Several speakers and safety presentations are also on the agenda.

Gift Certificates

Blachly-Lane offers gift certificates starting in $5 denominations and up. These gift certificates can be used to pay your electric bill or buy any of the products and services available through Blachly-Lane. Needless to say they make a great gift!

Free Meeting Room

Blachly-Lane has a meeting room available to co-op members free of charge. This room can accommodate approximately 30 people. To reserve the meeting room simply call the office at 688-8711.

Triangle Lake Park

Blachly-Lane owns property at the outlet of Triangle Lake and has an arrangement with the Triangle Grange to manage the site for camping. A caretaker is present on site and takes care of reservations and maintenance.
