Energy Efficiency Rebate Program for January 1, 2006 - December 31, 2006

Blachly-Lane is offering an efficiency program for appliances and HVAC systems. Financing options are available for efficiency improvements, or customers have the option of rebates (which are paid as credits on their electric account) for appliances and HVAC systems meeting ENERGY STAR¨ standards. These rebates apply to purchases and installations from January 1, 2006 to December 31, 2006.

To make sure your appliance purchase is ENERGY STAR¨ rated, check with your retailer or the Oregon Department of Energy web site. To apply for the credit on your electric account submit a copy of the receipt along with a completed credit coupon.

HVAC systems (heat pumps) also qualify for rebates. PTCS (Performance Tested Comfort Systems) qualify for additional rebates. PTCS is a program designed to test and seal duct systems to reduce energy consumption and improve home comfort levels. Certified contractors perform this service. For a list of qualified contractors see the Oregon Office of Energy website listed below or contact our office. To apply for Blachly-Lane rebates, submit your invoice from a contractor along with a completed credit coupon. After inspection by a representative from your co-op, the credit will be applied to your electric account.
